I was inspired to do this piece after watching my oldest son Eleven play with his lego spaceships ("zzhhhrroomm, peww! peww! peww! peghhhhhhBOOM!".) It doesn't seem like that long ago that I was doing the same thing. Actually, I still do it - just not out loud (most of the time.) The monster and the spaceships are his creations scanned and animated.
